Atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis

When plaque is a buildup in the inner lining of an artery due to the consumption of fats, cholesterol, and other substances, it is called atherosclerosis. It is a continuing disease that starts early in age and progresses rapidly and artery walls become thickened and stiffy. It is also known as Arteriosclerotic Vascular disease ASVD

Risk factors

  • High cholesterol.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Diabetes.
  • Obesity.

These risk factors mostly occur due to smoking habits, less physical activities, and eating saturated fats. And this brings down the blood flow and oxygen supply to the indispensable body organs. It affects the arterial blood vessels.

Symptoms

Symptoms of atherosclerosis depend upon the specific artery, which is affected. For each affected artery, signs and symptoms are different. Such as:

  • Chest pain or pressure in the upper body including chest, arm, neck, or jaw.
  • Sudden numbness or weakness in arms or legs.
  • Difficulty to speak or slurred speech.
  • Temporary loss of vision in one eye.
  • High blood pressure or kidney failure.

Treatment

In modern science, cholesterol-lowering drugs, beta-blockers, and antiplatelet drugs are given. But it can cure without taking these heavy medications.

In Neurotherapy, a diagnosis starts from the root cause of the disease. It corrects the internal organs to start functioning again normally and properly. Here HDL is the foremost medicine-less therapy and has no side effects. It is frequently used over and over with identical results. So, this is one of the refreshing approaches which abandon the use of medicines and drugs
