Menstrual Cycle



In females when hormone production, the structure of the uterus, and ovaries changes, which is called the menstrual cycle. It counted from the first of the period and to the next period’s first day. But it may not same for everyone if someone has PCOD or PCOD, it may differ. 25-30 days are the average cycle but it can short as 21 days or longer than 35 days. And on period month it’s normal from 2 to 7 days.

Four phases of the menstrual cycle:

Menstruation phase

The follicular phase

Ovulation phase

The luteal phase  

Age of Menstruating and Menopause:

At the average age of 12 girls normally gets their first period but it can also start early due to the current lifestyle and food habits.

Whereas the age of menopause starts at 51 when a woman stops producing eggs and no longer becomes pregnant.

Starting symptoms of the menstruation:

Food cravings

Cramps in the lower abdomen and back

Tenderness in the breast

Acne

Moodiness and trouble sleeping
